In 2017, I started out with some simple school drum lessons, quickly I found I had a strong urge and need to play more and more.

After a short time attending school lessions my parents surprised me with the purchase of a second hand drum kit, I was no longer to be held back by the short 30 min lessons.  From here my ability really grew, before long new lessons were needed with a new drum coach that could keep my mind entertained with new techniques. The new drum coach "Alex Forryan", was found at DeRosa Music in Bishops Stortford, he's an RSL legend and an amazing drummer playing some very high profile private bands and locations. Currently the drummer for  RED HOTT and the BLACKLOUNGEBAND (apple music / spotify) I've completed  recent full gig with legendary Mr Spankey and the Hipthrusters.

I attend jam nights in Essex and have used this as an "apprenticeship" to grow my skill and play with so many amazing artists & bands. Players and local artists include, "John Summerton" (Flintlock and Rubetts), "Keith Farr", "Jem Hunns", "Jason Bangers", "Kenny Petrie" (BGT and Mr Spankey) Local singing legend "Susie Brown", epic local guitar legends "Mikie on Guitar" & "Ed the Shread", Saxist, Trumpet playing singer "SaxBoiPaul" and many more. I played a local music festival  with my DeRosa academy band "Olivia and the Atoms".

​Now I have three drum kits (Sonor / Mapex and a Roland electric kit), I gig regularly and have I recently played and recorded with Black Lounge Band & Red Hott, and played festivals and  gigs with them. My immediate plans include finishing college (Cambridge) where I am studying music performance and production over the next year. Then wherever my music takes me I am happy to go.  Nick E.
